The present state of the business
As of October 2011 we have now gone through 2 summer rain seasons. Most of the agave plants have survived and are thriving. Weeding is ongoing by crews and the sheep. The fields are now fenced in and the corrals are being enlarged to have a birthing area. We have planted grass seed for winter pasture during the dry season and are working on an irrigation system to water those fields. We now have a vet taking over the health of the sheep herd. And we are getting ready to sell our first lambs.
